The 2018 Murmur Collection continues our relaxed journey into a world of subtle pattern and colour. First launched back in 2015 at Maison et Objet in Paris, and designed to embrace the idea of slow living, our simple back to basics approach emphasises the natural, using cottons, wools, linens, wood and stoneware.

A subtle homeware collection where every pattern has been hand-crafted and painted by Murmur’s team of designers in Ireland, and every product has been crafted and sourced from specialist makers around the world. Introducing beautiful teal and charcoal ceramics to layer up with our core grey collection, cushions in a chartreuse pop sit alongside the soft dove grey bedding, soft washed denim blues, teals and charcoal all feature. This is a simple, refined, but very relaxed palette that’s complemented with an exquisite attention to detail.

For SS18 we introduce serveware in the form of small and large centrepiece trays and coasters made on the Island of Oland, Sweden using Scandinavian birch wood. Our home fragrance collection completes the ambience of the collection with a palette of natural fragrances, each blended and hand poured in the UK, each designed to last day or night. Sakura blossom brings a bright, fruity raspberry and rhubarb scent. Ebony Mist is pink peppers and spice on top of a deep woody base. Rare Earth is vertiver and cedar wood with hint of spice. With single wick candles made from 100% natural soy wax and a high fragrance content, and a diffuser which lasts up to eight weeks, this range sets the mood in a typically subtle way.
