The Merrell concept was inspired by a trend initially picked up whilst on a trip to New York...this was based on
taking a classic jacquard design and giving it a contemporary twist by mixing with 'metallic's' . You can see
how we generated ideas by looking at the moodboard below...
The brief for the jacquard was to weave a beautiful fabric that would shimmer like beaten silver, yet feel soft and
luxurious to the touch! To further enhance this look the bed was accessorised with crisp white cotton p`cases
embroidered with metallic yarns, then layered with a throw and cushions designed using a mix of silks and
sculptured velvets.
